B Corps are emerging around the world with over 1200 B Corps in 38 countries. There are currently 40 B Corps in 10 countries within Europe. B Corps, which stands for Benefit Corporations, inspire people to use entrepreneurship as a means to improve the world. B Corps are certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Today, there is a growing community of more than 1,000 Certified B Corps from 33 countries and over 60 industries working together toward 1 unifying goal: to redefine success in business. Today B Corp celebrated the founding class of European B Corps and officially launched the new European B Corps Network, which Aart van den Bos, associate of Generous Minds and founder of Verbos, attended.

The event held a dynamic program of inspiring international speakers such as Jacqueline Cramer (Amsterdam Economic Board), Yohanan Senf (Director Ben & Jerry’s Europe), Merijn Everaarts (founder of Dopper) and Marcello Palazzi (founder of B Lab Europe). Also a number of interactive workshops, including one with Generous minds.
